Liver Rescue Salad

The liver loves the sulphates from cruciferous vegetables. So this recipe lends it’s self well to nourishing the liver and supporting it to carry out its multitude of functions.

 

LIVER RESCUE SALAD

Ingredients: serves 4

¼ red cabbage finely shredded
2 carrots grated
2 radishes thinly sliced
1 Lebanese cucumber
4 shallots finely chopped
Yellow baby tomatoes
2 tablespoons of capers chopped
1 handful of basil leaves torn
Juice of one lemon
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste

Method

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients together, mix well and transfer in a salad serving plate or dish.
